Gilbertson, MD, FACS Dr. Gilbertson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dartmouth College and attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Gilbertson went on to train in General Surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. He then completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, under the direction of Dr. Jack Crowenwett. Dr. Gilbertson has been in private practice in Boise since 1991. Dr. Gilbertson is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery. He lives on a small, working farm in Eagle with his wife and three daughters. Philippe A. Masser, MD Dr. Masser graduated Cum Laude from Williams College, in Williamstown, Massachusetts. He attended medical school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California and received his General Surgery training at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Masser completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon under the direction of Dr. John Porter. Dr. Masser joined VeinCare/Cardiovascular Associates in 1996. He lives in Boise with his wife and two children. Brian Matteson, MD, FACS Dr. Matteson atttended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, graduating in 1990 with a B.A. in Physiology. Dr. Matteson went on to medical school at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1994. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and went on to complete a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He practiced General and Vascular Surgery in Olympia, Washington before returning to the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque to complete a Mini-Fellowship in Endovascular Surgery and held a position of Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center from 2002 through 2005. Dr. Matteson has been in private practice with VeinCare/Cardiovascular Associates since 2005. He lives in Boise with his wife and two children. Michael J. Tullis, MD, FACS Dr. Tullis graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, with Honors and attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He then completed his training in General Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Tullis went on to specialize in Vascular Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center under the direction of Dr. D. Eugene Strandness, Jr. Dr. Tullis served as Assistant Professor of Surgery, at the University of New Mexico, where he was extensively involved in endovascular surgical interventions. Dr. Tullis is board certified in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Tullis joined CVA in 2000. He lives in Boise with his wife Michelle, daughter Reagan and dog Sage. Scott Burnett, PA Scott is a physician assistant who has received specialty training in surgery. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno graduating with a BS in Biology. Scott moved to Boise in 1994 to attend Boise State University where he trained as a surgical technologist. In 1999, Scott went on to train as a Physician Assistant at the University of Cornell Medical College in New York City, where he graduated from in December of 2001. He is board certified by the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants with Special Recognition in Surgery. Scott lives in Boise with his wife and two sons. |
