About Midwest Vein Center

The Midwest Vein Center is pleased to feature the EVLT® laser treatment procedure and VeinViewer™-directed sclerotherapy, along with other procedures to treat varicose veins and spider veins. The Midwest Vein Center is one of the most experienced vein practices in Chicagoland, and often performs national training for EVLT. Biography

J. Gordon Wright, MD, FACS -

Dr. Wright graduated from Loyola University Medical School with honors.  He completed vascular surgery residency at Boston University, and endovascular surgery residency at Nottingham University.  He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and completed board certification for both general surgery and vascular surgery.  Dr. Wright is also a diplomate for the American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Stephen Rivard, MD, FACEP -

Dr. Rivard graduated from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University and completed his residency at Butterworth Hospital.  After residency, Dr. Rivard pursued fellowships in emergency medicine and phlebology.  He is certified by the American College of Emergency Physicians.
