Kenneth P. Cicuto, DO, FSIR

Kenneth P. Cicuto, DO, FSIR - EVLT Portland Vein CenterDr. Cicuto attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, graduating in 1972 with a B.S. in Zoology. He attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 1976. He completed his residency at Brighton Medical Center in 1980 and went on to complete a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has practiced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology for over 27 years. He joined Spectrum Medical Group in 1996 and has provided care for chronic venous disease and specifically Endovenous (EVLT) techniques during the past 5 years. He is board certified in the American Osteopathic College of Radiology and is a senior Fellow in the Society of Interventional Radiology. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Vermont College of Medicine.

Joseph P. Gerding, MD

Joseph P. Gerding, MD - EVLT Portland Vein CenterDr. Gerding, a native of the Chicago area, studied psychology at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, earning a B.A. in 1995. He then attended medical school at the University of Illinois in Peoria, graduating in 2000 with honors for his participation in the James Scholar Program for Independent Study. He was also elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he learned to treat chronic venous disease using endovenous laser vein therapy, microphlebectomy, and sclerotherapy. Dr. Gerding joined Spectrum Medical Group in 2007 by way of his wife, a native of New England. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Tom Gallagher, PA-C

Tom Gallagher, PA-C - EVLT Portland Vein CenterMr. Gallagher graduated from SUNY Cortland in 1981 with a BS Degree in Biology. After working in the Dept. of Microbiology at The New York Hospital in New York City, he attended the Cornell University Medical College Surgeon Assistant program completing his degree in 1988, and is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He has worked in all aspects of Surgery including Cardiothoracic, General, and Vascular Surgery for 12 years before specializing the last 7 years in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and varicose vein treatment at Spectrum Medical Group. Tom lives in Portland with his Golden Retreiver Maggie and cat Benzik.
